News Menu Button Full programs for six pack of concerts

Here are the programs for the six Concerts on the Square this summer:

July 28: Pure Enchantment with the 17-year-old New Zealand singing sensation Hayley Westenra and UW-Madison tenor James Doing.

This concert will mark Hayley's U.S. orchestral debut. The WCO has already received calls from people interested in traveling from other states, such as Minnesota and Michigan, for this concert.

The program includes: Ravel, "Menuet Antique"; Bach/Gounod (arr. Rainey), "Ave Maria"; Lloyd Webber, "All I Ask of You"; Lloyd Webber/arr. Marrett, "Time to Say Goodbye"; Ravel/arr. Dean, "Never Say Goodbye" ("Pavane for a Dead Princess"); Ravel, "Rigaudon" from "Tombeau de Couperin"; intermission; Ravel, "Prelude" from "Tombeau de Couperin"; Vivaldi/arr. Class, "River of Dreams" ("Winter" from "Four Seasons"); arr. Class, "Amazing Grace"; Tchaikovsky, "Capriccio Italien."

This concert is sponsored by Alliant Energy. This concert will be broadcast on Wisconsin Public Television.
